Sri Lankan Cultural Event Saterday, 13 April 2019

The Sri Lankan Association in Geneva (SLAG) invites you to a Sri Lankan Cultural Event on Saturday, 13 April 2019.  SLAG as the leading forum to promote cultural and social ties amongst the Sri Lankan community in Geneva has put together an event not to be missed.

This will also be an ideal opportunity to showcase unity and harmony within our community.  This year’s event will feature several cultural performances by our own sons and daughters spiced with exciting competitions and scintillating music to keep you on your toes.

An authentic Sri Lankan cuisine buffet dinner with mouth-watering dishes along with the traditional festive delicacies is sure to whet your appetite!

We look forward to your presence at this event and encourage you to bring your friends along as it is sure to be an enjoyable evening.

Details of the cultural event are given below:

Date and time:  Saturday, 13 April 2019, from 4.00 to 11.30 p.m.

(We will commence exactly at 4.00 pm as we have to close the hall at 11.30 pm sharp)

Venue:  Salle des Fêtes des Avanchets, Rue François-Durafour 17, 1220 Avanchets.  Parking is available at Balexert in the P3 car park (

Meal:  Buffet dinner comprising Sri Lankan traditional food

Beverages:  Non?alcoholic beverages will be provided free of charge.  Beer and wine will be available at a reasonable price at the bar.

Entertainment:  Cultural dances;  Live music by The EDM Duo DJ Eurasia featuring Uci Bill

Dress Code:  Lounge/Traditional/Smart Casual

Entrance Tickets:

For SLAG members who have renewed their membership for 2019

Adults:  CHF 30.00 per person

Children 15 to 21 years:  CHF 15.00 per person

Children up to 15 years:  Free*

* Children to be accompanied by parents

For non?members and guests:

Adults:  CHF 40.00 per person

Children 15 ? 21 years:  CHF15.00 per person

Children up to 15 years:  Free*

* Children to be accompanied by parents

If you wish to become a member of SLAG or would like to renew your membership for 2019, you could do so at the event.  

You are kindly advised to purchase your tickets in advance to facilitate a better service.  Table reservations can be made for a minimum of 10 to 12 persons per table.
