The Sri Lankan Association of Geneva (SLAG) is pleased to inform you that members attending the Annual General Assembly (AGA) held on 13 January, 2019, appointed the Executive Committee of the Association (EXCO) for the year 2019.  We wish to thank the membership for electing an Executive Committee which mirrors the vision of the SLAG in creating a “Sri Lankan” identity in Switzerland.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to the members of the former Executive Committee for their hard work and commitment to the activities of the Association in 2018.

The success of the Association depends on the active participation of its members.  For over three decades, the SLAG has been serving the Sri Lankan community in Geneva and its environs as its leading social and cultural forum.  We look forward to your ongoing involvement and continued participation in all cultural, social and charitable events organized by the SLAG this year too.

 In order to keep the momentum of the SLAG going, we would like to invite all Sri Lankans in Switzerland and the environs to join our Association.  Whilst your support in introducing new members would strengthen our Association, we would kindly remind those members of SLAG who have not paid their subscriptions for this year to do so at your earliest convenience.

Last, but not least, please save the date for the Sri Lankan New Year Party scheduled to be held on Saturday, 13 April, 2019. Further details will follow in the weeks ahead.
