NEW PASSPORT FOR A LOST PASSPORT
Request for a Passport application should be sent by post with the following documents :
- (i) Photocopy of the Swiss resident permit.
- (ii) Self-addressed envelope with stamp
Request for a Passport application should be sent by post with the following documents:
- (i) Photocopies of the Photo page and the renewal page of the present passport.
- (ii) Self-addressed envelope with stamp.
If children are included in mother’s passport, and if they are now over 16 years old, separate applications should be submitted to obtain new passports for those children.
RENEWAL OF PASSPORTS
This service can be obtained by mail. Request for a renewal application should be sent by mail with the following documents:
- (i) Photocopies of the Photo page and renewal page of the present passport.
- (ii) Self-addressed envelope with stamp.
The application form can be submitted to the Consulate together with the applicant’s passport by mail or in person
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS
Both father and mother should have valid passports.
Request for application for this purpose should be sent by post with the following documents.
- (i) Copies of the photo pages of passports of both father and mother.
- (ii) Copies of resident permits of parents.
- (iii) Photo copy of Swiss Birth Certificate of child.
- (iv) Self-addressed envelope with (S.Fr.5)
- stamp (size of envelope : 32 cm x 25 cm)
The registration of births is a necessary requirement to include names of children in parents’ passports.
CHANGING NAME IN THE PASSPORTS AFTER MARRIAGE
This service can be obtained by mail.
Request for an application should be sent by postwith self-addressed envelope with stamp.
The application for this can be submitted to the Annex of the Consulate General together with the applicant’s passport by mail or in person.
ADDITION OR DELETION OF ENDORSEMENTS
This service can be obtained by mail.
Request for an application should be sent by post with the following documents:
- (i) Copies of the photo page and the second page of the passport.
- (ii) Self-addressed envelope with stamp.
ADDITION OR DELETION OF CHILDREN IN PASSPORTS
Request for this purpose should be sent with the following documents :
- (i) Copy of Birth Certificate.
- (ii) Self-addressed envelope with stamp.
