It is with great honour that the Sri Lankan Association of Geneva (Association) informs you that the Executive Committee of the Association (EXCO) for the year 2015/2016 was appointed by the members, at the Annual General Assembly held on 22 March 2015.The duly elected members of the Executive Committee (unanimously elected) is as follows.

We take this opportunity to sincerely thank the members of the previous Executive committee for their invaluable dedication towards the activities of the Association during the last year. We would also like to thank the general membership for electing a truly representational Executive Committee at the AGM this year which mirrors our vision in creating a ‘Sri Lankan’ identity in Switzerland. We stand committed to further this cause during the current year too.
The success of any organization depends on the active participation of the membership. SLAG has been serving as the leading social and cultural forum for the Sri Lankan community in Geneva and its environs for over three decades. We earnestly look forward to your participation in all cultural, social and charitable events organized by the Association this year.
The ‘membership drive’ that we began last year produced positive results somewhat but we will continue in the same vein this year too. It is in this light , that we call upon all Sri Lankans in Geneva and the environs to join our Association. Whilst your support in introducing new members would strengthen the Association we would kindly remind those members of our Association ( SLAG) who have not paid their subscriptions for this year to do so at your earliest. We will be sending you another follow up letter by post with the pay – in slip and account details.

Due to unavoidable circumstances we had to postpone the Sri Lankan New Year’s party to the above date. Hence, please keep the date free for the moment and await more details of yet another memorable Sri Lankan party!
